Review & Giveaway: Martha Speaks Chick FilA Kid's Meal Books

My favorite fast food place has to be Chick Fil A by a wide margin.  Not only is the food so much better but their kid's meals contain fun and educational products and not those cheap plastic toys that get tossed aside as soon as the meal is done.  As part of their "Growing kids inside and out" program, Chick-fil-A is sponsoring the PBS Kids’ television series “Martha Speaks” by offering books about the talking family dog Martha in Chick-fil-A’s Kid’s Meals. 

Through Feb. 5, Kid’s Meals will include one of five limited-time offer books based on the characters Susan Meddaugh created for the series, which first published in 1992 and grew into an educational television program in 2008.  I love PBS because all the programs represent the kind of shows I watched as a kid (clean, innocent and educational fun).

The Martha Speaks promotion will also be featured on Chick-fil-A’s placemats during the promotion. Did you know you can obtain free Table Topper® stick-in-place plastic placemats to provide a sanitary eating surface for babies and toddlers to eat finger foods. The restaurant also provides individual PURELL® Sanitizing Hand Wipe packets to customers and my kids just love the play area.  This is the only fast food chain play area that I allow my children to enjoy.

My son loved Firedog Martha the best and my daughter loved Best in Show.  Instead of bringing home a plastic toy we have a book that we can learn new words and enjoy together.
