I would like to introduce you to Wash Tyme who is one of 5 fabulous sponsors towards my 'Be My Valentine Handmade' themed prize pack for the Handmade with Love Winter Giveaway event which will be held on February 2nd to 6th. Wash Tyme is offering a $20 gift certificate toards the prize pack. The winter giveaway event also offers wonderful handmade prize packs by over 200 bloggers and you'll be able to hop from one blog to another with ease and win yourself wonderful handmade products for the entire family.
Do you think washing your hands or cutting grease with cooking oil sounds crazy? Well not for the folks at Wash Tyme who specialize in making natural vegetable glycerin soaps. Dorinda and Andrew from Wash Tyme recycle cooking oil that they collect from restaurants to make biodiesel and the byproduct glycerin is then used to make soap - how cool is that - a recycle effort that rewards you with two green functional products.
Wash Tyme is a local business in my area and I was so glad to bump into Andrew at a local event. I was fortunate enough to review Wash Tyme products at the end of last year so here is my review below

Pump Dispenser Soap in coconut Lime scent
Before I tried the products above I wondered whether I'd get a good lather or how the products would smell. I was amazed at how different the lather felt compared to store brought soap or body wash. Both soap lathered up just like a regular bar of soap but they made my hand feel smooth and not dry and the fragrance was spot on and so hip. With the soap you feel that you'll get a lot of mileage too as it doesn't dissolve readily on contact like regular soap does. I always feel cheated with regular soap as my soap bars dissolve so quick. Now I know where to send my cooking oil from that deep fried Thanksgiving Turkey : ) What a great business model to support - Clean & Green!
BUY
Purchase at their secure online store here - starting price is $1.00. You can also find their products at these locations here.
Wash Tyme were very concerned with the effects of the oil spill in the Gulf Coast resulting from the Deep Water Horizon Disaster and recently sent a 55 gallon drum of their glycerin degreaser down as a free sample to aid in the wildlife cleaning efforts.
