Rubbermaid Clean & Dry Plunger Review & Giveaway

Cleaning is my least favorite household chore.  However, with two active kids cleaning is inevitable, especially in the bathroom where it can get quite messy!  If I'm not there to supervise, the bathroom counters get covered with toothpaste and the mirrors splattered with water.  And don't get me started on how many times I've had to unclog the toilet bowl from excessive toilet paper use.  This has to be the worst chore ever.

I like to shop around for ingenious gadgets to makes these less desirable chores a little more tolerable.  I thought I had found the perfect plunger from Target.  It came in a wonderful white holder that opens up automatically once you lift the handle up and closes automatically once you set the plunger down.  This means you don't need to touch the dirty plunger and its out of site in the holder after use.  However, trying to figure out how to get that plunger from the toilet bowl back to the holder without dripping toilet bowl water on your toilet seat, bathroom floor and yourself is another challenge in itself.

Rubbermaid has solved this dilemma with their new Clean & Dry Plunger

The head and pole of the plunger is coated in NeverWet™ nanotech coating that:

·         Repels water, germs and other things
·         Like car wax, the water beads up and rolls off instantly
·         Minimizes the spread of germs and keeps consumer’s homes cleaner and
more sanitary
·         Won’t drip on the floor after use
·         Head plunges effectively and maintains NeverWet coating for thousands of cycles

NOTE: The unique NeverWet™ coating is affected by the natural oils in your skin, touching the protective coating may impact product performance.  Should you want to clean your plunger, bleach is recommended.  Do not clean with soap as it will diminish the performance of the NeverWet™ coating.  Not designed for some low-flow toilets with larger openings

The Rubbermaid Clean & Dry Plunger worked perfectly in both a test run and during actual use (courtesy of my little rascals).  Just like my car windows on a rainy day, the water beads off the plunger as soon as I lift it out of the toilet bowl.  Now my bathroom floor stays clean and I don't have to freak out about cleaning up drips! My Target brought plunger has now retired gracefully replaced by the Rubbermaid Clean and Dry Plunger.

Cleaning the bathroom - the toilet especially. Since we run a business out of our home, the bathroom must always be clean. Constant chore:(
