Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler Review & Giveaway

Earth Day falls on April 22nd this year.  Its a time to reflect on how we impact mother earth.

Sometimes in the rush of life we forget about the big picture.  As a mom I struggle to get everything done that I need to do for the family, my work, my blog everyday.  Time flies quickly when you are having fun but its all too easy to forget that we coexist with mother earth.  This past year I've been conciously making an effort to do more to recycle.  We have a trash can for recyclables and a regular can for trash.  I've been trying to throw more things into the recyclable can than the trash as I know too well that the trash will end up in a landill.  It has been a success as every Wednesday on trash day I seem to be carrying more recycleables down my driveway than my receptical can hold.

I love how the 2-in-1 Recycler makes it easy to recycle and also is really pleasing to the eye.  The recycler is a 2-unit bin that allows you to contain trash and recycle in one location.  Or you could use it to separate your recyclables.  The top unit is perfect for collecting recyclables - I love the deep bucket.  The fold away handle actually helps hold the trash bag in place plus when used it makes it easy to carry the recyclables out!  The bottom unit holds an 8 gallon trash bag and tilts out which is a nice feature for trash when you don't want to touch the trash can with your fingers.  My husband prefers this recycler and so do I.
