Review & Giveaway: Rizzoli & Isles TV Show

I must admit watching TV falls way down my priority list every evening as I have way too many things going on after I get home from work with the kids.  After I put the kids to bed, I'm running around getting things ready for the next day, blogging or working out.  Unfortunately, I haven't quite figured out how to juggle my laptop on my elliptical and blog at the same time but if someone will come up with such a device I would be ever so grateful.  However, I managed to figure out how to get in my TV time - I multitask during my workout while also browsing my free magazines - now don't ask me to chew gum at the same time ; )

I do fit in my workouts at strange times of the night and you may hear my elliptical whirring as late as 10.45 pm to my husbands dismay.  But this is when all those detective shows come on.  I'm not sure why we all suddenly have a love of gruesome crime scene that occur on both sides of the coast but I find myself compelled to watch them.  Well add Rizzoli and Isles to your TV schedule - it airs Mondays at 10/9c on TNT.

The characters are based on the Rizolli & Isles book series by author Tess Gerritsen whom you might also know from The Surgeon, The Apprentice, and Vanish.

RIZZOLI & ISLES contains a whole array of great actors such as Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos)and Bruce McGill (Law Abiding Citizen), the main characters are Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander), complete opposites and good friends who solve crimes and bust some of Boston's most notorious criminals.  Its great to see the lead characters played by women so I'll have this on my play list for my Monday night workout.
