I have a desk job and I find myself snacking a lot. There's always cake for anniversary's or candy around. Does this sound familiar? I was given the opportunity to review the book S.A.S.S Youself Slim by Cynthia Sass. The program promises up to an 8lb loss in the first five days. This certainly is appealing considering I can shift 1lb up or down with the wind. The plan consists of a 5 day plan that jump starts your results. You eat only 5 foods (raspberries, eggs, almonds, spinach and yogurt) for 5 days and if followed correctly will lose up to 7 lbs. I'm sure its not for everyone but like me I want quick results because it motivates me to maintain it and lose more. Cynthia has put together four daily delicious meals (scrambled egg, parfait, salad and smoothie) that you can repeat for the remaining 4 days which makes it simple for those 5 days. It does have you drinking a smoothie at 10pm at night though. The timing of the meals is as important as the food but its worth a shot for the weight loss goal.
Then you move onto the 25 day plan which helps you change the way you eat in a less dramatic fashion. The 25 day plan calls for 4 meals a day, but not draws from a broad but specific array of food choices. You may be able to drop a size in just one month! If you want to take control of your eating habits then this book is for you!
