Gift: Lapper TraysCategory: Friends and Family Gift Review & Giveaway We have several food trays in our house but I rarely use them because they really are not practical for carrying food and drink very far contrary to their purpose.  I'm not sure how waitresses balance drinks on trays but my drinks and dishes tend to slide on my flat shiny trays.  It seems easier just to carry my dish and drinks in my hands and then come back to get the rest of the food.  I've never heard of Lappers but this may be the answer to the problems I'm encountering with dishes and drinks sliding. 

We received this fun Circles design Lapper tray for review and put it to the test - the Lappers or Lapper Tray is made of melamine and have indentions for a dish and a drink which are fitted with anti slip silicone mats.  My dish and drink stayed in place even when I tilted and turned the tray.  I love how these trays are   dishwasher safe, can nest into each other and have large handles for ease of use.

While we don't eat dinner on trays in the family room, this is perfect for carrying my popcorn and drinks down to the basement for Monday movie night.  I can see this being a wonderful gift for college students, parents and grandparents as there are so many fun designs to choose from.
