Review & Giveaway

On the road I try to travel light, but with two active kids thats not always possible.  With the clothes, toys, books and snacks I always feel like we're going away for weeks on ends when it is only overnight.  I have portable DVD players and car DVD players for our road trips but these can be oh so frustrating.  With CD's skipping and long set up time I sometimes just give up on the DVD players and travel light and give the kids my itouch.  Its amazing the number of apps out there for kids.  The kids favorites are the puffer blow up fish game, table hockey and doodle pad.  I came across Ruckus Media Group during my search for children friendly apps.

Ruckus Media Group recreate classic original stories for mobile devices such as iPhone, iTouch and iPad that entertain toddlers to teens from their fingers to their minds, at home or on the road.  Ruckus Media Group have gone all out and pulled some wonderful stars to narrate 5 true classic children books.  Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, Robin Williams and John Cleese, narrates stories like The Velveteen Rabbit, Johnny Appleseed and Tom Thumb and combined with fabulous music by artists such as Elvis Costello, George Winston and B.B. King make this one powerful app for parents and children alike.  We were all impressed with the apps and would certainly recommend any parent with mobile media platforms
to check this out.  My children were silent all the way to Grandma's - yay.
