Review: Aveeno Nourish Hair Care Products

I wash and condition my hair everyday and with all my drugstore deals my bathroom is pretty stocked.  Back in June I was able to score a lot of Aveeno Nourish hair care products for free and loved using Aveeno Nourish.  In fact I love the whole Aveeno product line (face and body) especially the baby line for my children. I typically swap out my shampoo and conditioner regularly as with our water softener hair products build up quickly and my only option is to switch to a new shampoo and conditioner.  I recently switched back to Aveeno Nourish for this review and my hair couldn't be happier as even in the dry winter air it is certainly softer than usual.

The products I used for the review are the Nourish + Moisturize shampoo and conditioner and the Nourish + Style Smoothing Shine Creme. I have dead straight thick hair but need some help as I have new hair growing which loves to just stick up especially in the winter.  They all worked wonderfully together to give my hair a silky (but not weighed-down) feel and lots of great shine and control.

My daughter inherited my straight hair and my husbands curly hair.
Strangely enough her hair is a mix of both which can prove frustrating when trying to straighten out or curl her hair.  Patricks tip below has helped me to enhance my daughter's natural curls:

How do I add better definition to my natural curls?
First use NOURISH+ MOISTURIZE Shampoo and Conditioner and towel dry hair to remove excess moisture. Spray NOURISH+ STYLE Curl-Defining Spray-Gel throughout hair and distribute evenly with a wide tooth comb. Lightly mist NOURISH+ CONDITION Leave-In treatment to add extra moisture. On low heat, blow dry your hair with a diffuser, pushing the curls in as you dry. Give your hair a light mist of the Curl-Defining Spray Gel to finish.

Aveeno Nourish products are available in many stores, so keep an eye out for them!
