Every month I list my favorite top 10 freebies
February's freebie theme is "New Year of Love"

We are celebrating two events this month, Chinese New Year (Feb. 3rd) and Valentines Day (Feb. 14th).  What better way to celebrate these two events than with free activites, events and free food for the whole family to enjoy.

1. It's the year 4709, and time to welcome the Year of the Rabbit!  Many major cities around the world stage events, thanks to their Chinese communities; and of course China and Hong Kong host huge celebrations.  If you live near a big city with a large Chinese community, your family can experience the fireworks and the New Year's Eve Lion Dance Parade that mark this free event.  The celebrations are typically held on the Sunday after Chinese New Year at noon.
