Spring is finally here, for the northeast Mother Nature doesn't quite know whether to turn back to winter or head to spring. We've been busy with our seed starter kits and our seedlings are doing wonderful. Its not quite warm enough yet to get them hardied outside as Jack Frost may still appear, but we are so eager...
Growing your own organic vegetables is not only wonderful for your wallet but its also good for your health and well being and such a great educational tool for your family. We put together a raised bed garden last year from a kit and it was an amazing experience - see how we did here. Raised bed garden kits are so easy to put together, no digging and readily available from HayNeedle and so affordable too.
