Taco Tuesdays just got even more healthier with Ortega

I love Taco Tuesday night in our household.  Not only is it a quick meal to serve up for the family but I get the family to eat beans without complaint and also I get to dish up healthy servings of vegetables with the corn, lettuce and tomatoes that can be added to their tacos.  Its also fun putting together the taco ingredients, the children feel so grown up when putting together their own tacos.

Ortega has introduced the following products to make Taco Tuesday even healthier:

■Ortega Whole Grain Taco Shells
■Ortega 40% Less Sodium Taco Seasoning

■Ortega Taco Sauce

I personally love the Ortega sauce as all I need to do is just open the jar and pour over my chicken or ground beef for a delicious tasting treat for my tacos.  The Whole grain corn taco shells and 40% less sodium taco seasoning were a hit with the family.  I did the blind test i.e. didn't tell them there was anything special or different with the Taco shells and noone was the wiser...  Now I can introduce a healthier Taco Tuesday without compromising on taste.

Try a new and healthy taco recipe, such as Easy Oven Soft Chicken Tacos or Baja Fish Tacos.  Both are great options for a yummy hot lunch, after-school snack or dinner on cole wet Spring days.
