My Dad lives in England so I usually send him some money in a card. My Father in-law lives much closer but his gift is usually the same - money in a card. Dad's are so hard to buy for and there's only so many sweaters, t-shirts and polo shirts that you can get them so the standard cash is always appreciated.
This year since we have a family graduation party the Saturday before Father's day, we'll celebrate Father's day for all the men in the family with a cake. For my hubby who is a hard working and a loving hands-on Dad my children work hard on a fun hand made artwork for him. I relieve him of weekend breakfast duty and put together eggs benedict with hash brown. Our gift for this year will be cufflinks, cufflink storage box and clothes. I know it sounds boring but I'm the practical one in the family ; ) We usually chill for the rest of the day either watching movies or just hanging on our back porch playing games ...
I just put my order in for a bunch of custom Tinyprints Father's Day cards. I love the custom greeting cards features as you can add personal photos not only on the front page but inside and on the last page. Plus you can personalize with your own words. If you fancy being super organized you can purchase a stamp online and have the card mailed directly to the recipient and you can even have a gift card added on. All this without leaving the comfort of your own home.
For Hubby from the kids
For Pop Pop from the kids
For the Godfathers
Disclosure: This post was written for Tinyprints, I received a gift card for my honest opinions, other's opinions may vary.
