Scentsy Fundraiser for the American Red Cross Relief for Tornado victims

We are very fortunate and blessed with a healthy happy family.  So we like to give back to our local community and even international community through donations.

Recently, we raised $200 for the American Red Cross towards the Japan Tsunami Relief Fund.  Come read about it here and also enter to win a Build a Dream Playhouse for yourself.  We had a fun time making cookies and lemonade and learning how to count change and serving customers.

The recent tornadoes in the southern states brought home again how Mother Nature can be so cruel.  My generous reader Rosa Miller is a Scentsy consultant and is setting up a fundraiser on her Scentsy website.  Rosa will be donating 100% of her commissions (25% of sales) from May 1st to May 15th to the American Red Cross to support the Tornado victims in the Southern States.  So grab yourself some Scentsy products and make sure to shop through the “American Red Cross Fundraiser” link on her site so 25% of your purchase can go to this fundraiser.  Thank you Rosa for setting this up!

What is Scentsy?  a wickless, & flameless candle that is not like the traditional scented candles. Scentsy ceramic warmers use a low watt light bulb to warm & melt the scented wax, releasing the scent throughout your home. Scentsy offers different sizes of warmers, over 80 different scents, car candles, room sprays, fragrance foams and Scentsy Buddies. The wax and warmers do not get hot enough to burn and are safe for kids and pets.  Purchase your Scentsy items here.

Contact Rosa if you are interested in becoming a Scentsy rep - I have a few friends who are independent consultants and they make this a fun after kids go to bed job for some fun money.  What a great way to meet and party with people while earning some money at the same time.

Head to the American Red Cross website here and learn how you can give and get involved.

I live in Huntsville, Alabama, and our county was directly affected by the tornadoes. While my friends and family are all safe, I know that they are many people still suffering from losing houses, cars, or even worse. Many thanks to Rosa Miller for her efforts to raise money. I will be visiting her website soon!
