Verizon FiOS makes life as a working Mom easier #VerizonFiOS

When we moved into our new home over six years ago we were tied to our current provider at the time.  We were so excited when our contract ended and we could jump straight to Verizon FiOs.  Verizon FiOs in our opinion offers the best package out there especially with their triple bundle package program which we signed up for.

Here are five unusal ways that Verizon FiOS makes my life as a mom easier

1.  Blog Swiftly: As you know I'm a blogging mom as well as a working mom and wife, so my time is spread pretty thin.  Verizon Fios internet allows me to blog quickly so I can focus on the more important things in my life - my family.  The Verizon FiOs high internet speed connection allows me to multitask with multiple windows open without slowing down my computer.  The high speed also allows me to download videos and images quickly as visuals are a very important feature in my posts.

2.  Money Earner: Verizon FiOs offers me the opportunity to make a little fun money for the family with their referral program.  I am able to offer my readers an incentive of up to $50 to join Verizon FiOS for which I get the same amount too - win/win.  The Verizon FiOS referral program offers $50 in rewards for each referral who signs up for two or more qualifying Verizon services or $25 in rewards for each referral who signs up for one qualifying Verizon service.  Email me here if you are thinking of joining Verizon and earning up to a $50 Visa Gift Card.  I just received my first $100 and will put that towards a basketball hoop for my son's birthday.

3. Peace & Quiet: While I try to keep TV time for the kids at a minimum by offering craft projects and outdoor activities, I know this cannot be avoided altogether so Verizon FiOS makes my life easier by offering Flex View where I can buy, rent and watch on-demand video titles on my FiOS TV, on my computer or on my mobile phone.  Sometimes even with the enormous amount of channels there doesn't always seem to be a lot of kid appropriate programs to watch.  So Flex View allows me to pick a movie that can be pulled up so I can get to making dinner or folding laundry in peace.

4. Keeping Sane I: The Sports widget not only keeps my husband sane but also keeps me sane.  When baseball, football, hockey or Nascar is on I leave the men in my family to watch it in the basement as that TV will flicker from channel to channel non stop.  I'm not sure how they don't get dizzy but with the new sports widget there's no need to change channel to keep abreast of the whole series as the widget provides instant access to headline news, scores, league standings, player updates and game-time alerts.

5. Keeping Sane II: The DVR offers me the ability to watch programs on my schedule.  For example Extreme couponing on TLC cuts into my elliptical time.  So I tape it and watch it after my workout.  The DVR also allows hubby to further question the refs on TV regarding a bad call by rewinding and playing in slow motion.  It keeps us all sane.....
