Review: Blair Candy Company

Every birthday party I always try to do something different.  For my son's 6th birthday party we held it at a local rock climbing gym and I found easter eggs that had loops attached which could then be hung off the rocks.  Each child then had the task of climbing up to grab their egg which was filled with candy.  For their goody bag I found these Gold Rocks at an online candy store.

Gold Rocks Nugget Bubble Gum 12ct Dubble Bubble

Although my children's birthday's have already been and gone this year I'm always on the lookout for my next party inspiration.  Blair Candy online store is a fun site to checkout especially if you need ideas.
We received a review opportunity with Blair Candy and I decide to review the Lightning Bug Gummi Candy as my children love to go catch lightning bugs during the summer.  In each bag of gummi candy is a special plastic tweezer, grab a candy bug and the bug lights up. The trick is in the tweezers.  My children who are 6 and 4 were so excited to receive their lightning bug candy.  They caught on to the fact that it was the tweezer that was lighting the bug but nevertheless this kept them busy while they caught and ate their bugs..

Purchase a 12-count bags of Lightning bug gummi candy here for only $14 + Shipping.  While roaming around the site look for scratch and save coupon codes - I found a 10% off coupon code : )  Thats an awesome price for a novelty that has a lasting memory for your little ones.

Check out Blair Candy via their Facebook, Twitter and website

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free from Blair Candy and through Family Review Network. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
