Holiday Gift Guide: HearthSong Review & Giveaway

Just before Halloween this year we received 6 inches of snow here in PA.  We've already experienced aftershocks from an earthquake and hurricane Irene so what's a little snow? : )

Last winter we had an unprecedented amount of snow, school was closed several days and during that time we had fun at our local park with our sleds.  My son is a daredevil and racing down the hill on his new sled was his new found fun.  Of course mommy and daddy had to drag him and his sled back up the hill again.

While we had the snow storm in October, I started to look for a new snow sled and while searching around on Hearthsong outdoor activities section I found the Zipfy mini luge.  Zipfy is a light & compact sled (3lbs) that is designed for the whole family (recommended age 5+) - one size fits up to 250lbs.  They come in colors Blue, Green, Pink & Red and I'm happy that its super light weight and easy to carry.

Of course I now have a blue and red Zipfy for review and no snow (LOL) to actually go test it out.  So check out the You Tube video below - doesn't it look fun!

My son and husband are so excited to try it out but I'm sure come January or February we'll be able to test it out on real snow!
