Welcome to The Freebie Junkie's Holiday Gift Guide
 Gift: WWE Colossal Crashdown Arena
Category: Children's Gift Review

Last year we reviewed the WWE Money in the Bank Ring and so this holiday season my son added WWE action figures to his Santa list.  When his friends come over the ring is one of the first toys to be played with.  Its fun to hear them hold mock wrestling matches.  Any toy that holds three 6 year olds attention for a prolonged period is good for me.

Mattel has come out the largest FlexForce ring play set released to date: WWE Colossal Crashdown Arena.  It comes with spring-loaded mats, pro-tension ropes, turnbuckles, and WWE logos. The best part is the collapsible 18 inch structure on top of the ring.  My children are ad magnets and have already seen the ring and so when we received this for review I was ecstatic as my son had already put this toy on his Santa list.

A lot of detail has gone into this toy to ensure plenty of imaginative play, the mats inside the ring actually make the “crashing” noise you’ll hear on TV, and spring up and down just like the real thing. There are two posts at the top of the structure for the wrestlers to jump off, and we all had fun making the wrestling figures jump off and crash!  My son and his friends recreated a title match by crashing through the ceiling and grabbing the WWE Championship belt before the arena collapses - this was of much amusement to my son and his friends.   Now that we have two different WWE rings there will be much action as the wrestling figures can jump from ring to ring.

You can purchase the WWE Colossal Crashdown Arena online at Amazon.com. Note, this ring does not contain figurines so don't forget to add some wrestling figures to your cart.
