REAL STEEL comes out on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital and ON-Demand on January 24, 2012.
This is a boxing drama set in the near-future where 2,000-pound humanoid robots do battle.
We were kindly provided a review copy and watched the movie on Friday night. I enjoyed watching Hugh Jackman, the kids loved the robots and hubby enjoyed the fight scenes. The storyline was down to earth and had you rooting for Charlie and his son Max and of course Atom the robot boxer. There were moments of Rocky in the movie which made my husband happy. Real Steel is a fun family movie that will have you cheering for the under dog. We enjoyed the bonus material which included behind-the-scenes features revealing the magic behind the sets and characters, Bloopers, and more! I love watching the bonus material soon after watching the movie on DVD as it shows you an insight into making of the movie that you do not get while watching at the cinema.
