Disney Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition Blu-Ray and DVD Review

We never tire of Disney movies in our household and I'm so glad  Disney releases movies from the vault as there are som great classics that should be enjoyed by everyone!  We have a large collection of DVD's at home that get played at weekends and even after school just for some relaxing movie night on the couch.

The latest Disney vault release was on February 7, 2012 for the first time debut of LADY AND THE TRAMP DIAMOND EDITION on Blu-ray.

Lady and the Tramp is a classic love story in which a lovely young pedigree cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects.  Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the babyfrom potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.

The movie was a hit with the kids, I've never seen the movie either so it was nice to watch as a family.  Featuring high definition sound and immersive bonus features that reveals the extraordinary making-of process beind one of the greatest love stories of all time.  Disney has opened the archives with these rarely seen behind the scenes photos from the film featuring Peggy Lee, Walt Disney and the production team.  Its always nice to see the extra features as you forget about how much work actually went into production.
