Costume Discounters: Star Wars Costume Review

We recently went to the movies to see Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace in 3D.  My 6 year old son loved the movie as all his friends talk about are the article on Star Wars and now all he wants for his upcoming birthday is a Star Wars party.  I will accomodate this request as my son loves to dress up and has countless costumes that always get dragged out of his costume chest when his friends come over to play.  It is actually fun to see them all dressed up and use their imagination because I know it won't be long before they all decide that its not cool anymore and just sit and play video games.

We started to look around for Star Wars costumes for boys and my son loved this Child's Deluxe Darth Maul costume from Costume Discounters.  It is really well made and doesn't he look cute - ok scarily cute... At $32.98 it is not a bad price considering the quality and I know I can get multiple uses especially at Halloween. My son already dressed up as Darth Vader two years ago and he's amassed a nice collection of light sabers.  So now I just need to figure out party plates and invites.

The childs Jr. SWAT costume retails for $43.97 at Costume Discounters.  While this is usually out of my budget, when I received the costume I understood why.  The costume is made from thick cotton and definetely will outlast halloween.  I've had costumes in the past where they have broken during the halloween trick or treat because of the poor material quality.  My son loves to rummage through his old costume chest when his friends come over and I know this costume will last a long time especially when the boys all fight over this costume.
