I'm thankful that we turned our 220 gallon aquarium into a 220 gallon terrarium. It took me 2 hours to scour and scrub the 2 60-gallon aquariums this morning ... but it only took 10 minutes to sift the sand and clean the glass on the terrarium.

My oldest is graduating from high school next week with honors -- and he received 5 awards + 3 tassels last night at the senior awards ceremony - all merit based!!! When we got home from the event, my 3 younger kids were quarreling over who will be able to do better than that when they get to high school. He set the bar pretty high, but I'm proud that they're all giving it their best!

I am thankful for my health not being really bad like some of my other family members.
I'm thankful for my truck. It's not perfect, it's not easy to climb into, and it's not fuel-efficient. But it gets me from point A to point B and back again without me worrying about it breaking down. And since my husband pays our bills by "helping people back on their feet" (repo-man), I'm glad that we're able to pay the car loan and insurance each month.
