K'Nex Hammin' Around Building Set Review @KNEX

My son just love building things - he'll set up speed ramps for his cars or crash scenes with his first responder vehicles.  Its a joy to see him spend a lot of time building out of his K'Nex pieces. Its great for me as I know he is using his imagination which helps builds his spatial skills and help with math problems - the quietness in the house is always added bonus.  The K'Nex box is one of the first things that gets played with when his friends come over for playdates.

This is a great mix of K'NEX and Angry Birds! With the Hammin' Around set you get to actually build and destroy a level from the original Angry Birds game! Launch Red Bird and Orange Bird to destroy King Pig, Small Minion Pig, and Medium Minion Pig. Includes a working launcher just like the game, enough parts to build and knock down, and a Ham. My son was super excited when I showed him what came in the mail!  We have all versions of the Angry Birds app on our iPhones so its great to actually be able to build a 3D version yourself.  Immediately my son sat down to build the set and in no time we all sat around to see the launcher.  It was easy to knock down the minion pigs who were perched precariously on the K'nex ledges.  I must admit we all gave it a go and now when my son comes back from school he heads over to the set to have a play.  He knows when we've been playing in his absence because we don't set the display back up just the way he likes it.
