My son is in 1st grade and my daughter will be in Kindergarten this fall. Both classes require backpacks. This year my son adorned his backpack with knick knack keychains, pins and other paraphenalia which gave his backpack a unique look. I've been a couponer for as long as I can remember.
My Mom was and still is a big couponer and collector of freebies and so from experiencing this throughout my childhood this trait has been passed on naturally to me. The reason for my Mom's deal seeking activities was not for fun or as a hobby but as a necessity because our household of four were living off one chef's paycheck.
