Free Toys Story 3 stuff

Kellogs has specially marked cereal boxes  with codes to redeem for free Toys Story 3 stuff.  Well I went to Giant PA today as I wanted to get either the t-shirt for my son or get the $5 movie concession reward (as we will go to see Toy Story 3 when it comes out).  So here's my transaction:

2 boxes Kellogs Frosted Flakes $2.79 each
2 Boxes Kellogs Mini Wheat $3.19 each

Total = $11.96
Minus $4 automatic deduction at checkout
Minus $1/2 coupon from Kellogs
Minus $1.50/2 (for mini wheat) from redplum.com
Total = $5.46
I then got a $3.00 catalina coupon for my purchase
Total = $2.46 after coupons and catalina = 62 cents per box.

I now have 4 codes to enter and with 3 codes I'll get a $5 movie concession reward, or I can get another 4 boxes and get the t-shirt or 6 codes to get a movie pass or 8 codes for an Alien desk light.  Decisions decisions.  We love Kellogs cereal so cheap cereal and free stuff.

While you are on redplum.com, print the 50c/1 Carolina rice coupon (not the one that says 2lb though) as the 1lb bags are 99c at Giant PA and you can get these for free when Giant doubles the coupon.  Don't forget to Stamp out Hunger - check out this post.

You can get a free 6 inch sub at Subway's if you have a Subway Rewards card.  Just Text your Subway Card Number to 35562. You will get 50 points added to your Subway Card on your next visit! and, 50 Points is enough for a Free 6 Inch!

Stamp Out Hunger

Make a Change - Stamp Out Hunger food drive is this weekend (Saturday May 8th)

Here's what you need to do:

Place non-perishable items in a bag by your mailbox on Saturday, the letter carriers will pick up the items when they deliver your mail!  How easy is that!
The items you donate will be given to local food banks and pantries in your area, so what you donate goes directly to those in need in your own community.

Tonight I'm going to go in my pantry and donate a lot of my freebies (e.g. a lot of the pasta that I got in April).  I've been picking up free rice this week (Carolina rice from Giant PA using the 50c/1 coupons from the Sunday papers and coupons.com) so these will go in the donation pile too.

Swag Bucks

I just recently joined Swag Bucks and signed up with the code SWAGNATION5 (case sensitive) to get 70 Swag Bucks. You collect the swag bucks on their site and redeem them for prizes.  I have my eye on the $5 Amazon.com online codes which you redeem for 450 swag bucks.   I have received $10 in Amazon.com codes through some online surveys recently so my goal is to collect enough to get a small laptop for free.  So to collect these codes you use their online search bar to go to other websites, by doing so you are often awarded swag bucks.  There are other ways to collect them (shall post the details later as I'm still learning) but for me the easiest is to go on 3 times per day (Morning, lunch and night) and type in random search words e.g. reynolds wraps, Ford, Target to collect the codes.  I'm thinking in a week or two I'll get enough to redeem for a $5 Amazon.com card.  Not bad for a few clicks per day.  Through Swag bucks and a few online surveys I should be able to get a small laptop by the end of the year : )  Click here to sign up and use the same code SWAGNATION5 till 5/7 to get the 70 bonus swag bucks.

There has been a large recall of over 40 various childrens medication including Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl.  The most important thing to note is that this is not being recalled due to adverse medical affects. It is a recall being issued due to failed quality standards.  Check your cabinets and then go on their website here and click to see if your product is on the recalled list.  If your product at hand is recalled you can request a coupon to get a new one when the new stock is back on the shelf or request a refund based on average shelf price. See the FAQ page for more details.

Coupons.com has some new coupons that you need to print and save.  Click on the adbar above the main post and it will take you to the huge list of coupons that can be printed.  Search for the following to print:

Wackymac Pasta 50c/1 expires 6/1/10
El Paso Products 60c/2 Expires 6/1/10 Note: 5/4 Giant PA has a deal when you buy 6 packets of the seasoning for 66c each you get a $3 coupon to be used on chicken or beef for your next transaction (use 3 of the 60c/2 printable coupons then you pay only 36 cents (unless your store doesn't double the subsequent like coupons then oop is $1.56) and get some taco meat for free.  Pretty good, plus pair it up with the free Mission tortillas and you'll be all set for Cinco De Mayo.  Click here for the Mission Tortilla deal. 
Note: 5/5 Just a thought - my Giant PA will only double one "like' coupon so if your store does that your out of pocket on the seasoning and beef will be $1.56, still a good deal.  I had some $1/2 coupons so I paired up 1 60c/2 and 2 $1/2 and my out of pocket is 76 cents.  I also modified my post to say you get the $3 meat coupon instead of it automatically takes off $3 when you buy meat in the same transaction.

Frees at Drug Stores week of 5/1

Each week CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid post some good freebies, here's this week (week starting 5/1 till 5/8).  I'll keep adding to them as I go along this week.  There's only a couple of easy ones this week i.e using internet printables, most require you have the Sunday paper coupons, which I'm not sure why people don't get the Sunday paper delivered.  One, you get to read the news and second you get the wonderful coupons to get lots of freebies.

RITE AID

ProFoot products are 3/$15 and get $10 back via Rite Aid rebate.  Print 3 of these $2/1 Synovium Pain Relief Gel and its a Moneymaker after the coupons and rebate.  Last weekend's Smart Source newspaper insert had $2/1 Profoot flextastics Product - if you have 3 it will be a $1 moneymaker.

The Nivea Body wash is $3.99.  If you subsribe to All You Magazine then the May issue has a B1G1 coupon (well worth it to subscribe if you like coupons as this magazine is loaded with them and sometimes there are free coupons too) and pair it up with the $4/1 coupon in this weekends paper then you get 2 for free.  Unfortunately, my area (Philly) did not have this coupon. 

CoverGirl make up is B1G1 this week, pair it up with the B1G1 coupon from 4/11 and you get 2 for free.

Always, Carefree and Kotex Pantiliners are a $1 and use the $1 manufacturer coupon from 4/25 paper to get them for free.

The latest $5/$25 coupon expired 4/30 so waiting to see when we will get the next one as its great to add all the frees together and use the $5/$25 for another $5 worth of frees.  I'll keep you posted.
