Nutrisystem 10-Day Challenge #NSNation - SNACKS

SNACKS

I recently joined the 10 day Nutrisystem Blogger program, and was sent frozen food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack time from the Nutrisystem Select option for review.  I recently posted about breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and today I'll be focusing on frozen snacks.  My biggest issue is snacking, as I mentioned before I lead a sedentary life at work.  In the office environment coworkers are always bringing in yummy snacks and periodically there is a birthday or anniversary and cake is provided.  I have snacks in my drawers and I'm constantly muching away.  I don't snack at night though e.g. no midnight ice cream runs but the daytime snacking is the culprit.  While the frozen snack items are not suitable for my daytime snacking habits I was intrigued to try them out.

The frozen snack items that I received in my review package were Creamy fudge bar, Fudge Swirl Sunday, Ice cream sandwich and Orange Creme Bar  My favorite Nutrisystem snack item was the ice cream sandwich.  The ice cream sandwich is 130 calories with only 1g of fat.  This is a tasty snack to add to the end of the day's meal and will take care of those chocolate, ice cream and cookie cravings all in one go.

The frozen snack treats show that you don't have to give up all the "good" stuff.  Portion control is the key, the Nutrisystem plan shows you can eat less.  We are just all conditioned that more is better but really less is more.

The frozen foods are available in select food plans - more information are provided here

Tommorow, I'll review the new Nutrisystem BMI application.

Disclosure: Nutrisystem is providing their food and program to me free of charge in exchange for blogging about my experience as part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program.  These opinions are my own and others experiences with Nutrisystem may vary.
