Holiday Gift Guide: Twisterz Review & Giveaway

Photobucket

During the summer I had a hard time trying to keep my kids engaged with keeping up all that they learned during the academic year.  I brought kindergarten and 1st grade books but after a while it felt like work for them and their interest waned.

Here's a toy that has a great twist!
Twisterz Toys presents learning…with a twist! These fun, engaging, non-electronic toys educate and entertain children from toddlers all the way up through school-age children. Twisterz Toys promote language development, multi-sensory play, dialogue and story telling in a portable form that’s perfect for fun in the car, traveling, waiting rooms, restaurant outings, of course at home, and many more.

Twisterz Toys currently offers 5 Twisterz products:
Story Starter
Alphabet Matcher
Word Builder
Word Girl Word Builder
Clifford Category Matcher

My daughter (pre-K) enjoys the alphabet matcher while my son (1st grade) is capable of working the word builder.  I love that this toy doesn't require batteries and there isn't a battle to get my children to develop phonetic awareness, fine motor skills, problem solving skills and hand-eye coordination since Twisterz offers this all in one simple twist.  I keep these in the car and on the way to school or Grandma's the kids pick them up and work feverishly.  There won't be any boredom involved as the rings are easily removed and replaced offering thousands of possibilities.

If you have swagbucks you can purchase the Twisterz Alphabet Matcher here for $14.89 & eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25

Stressed with motherhood? Meet other Mom's at Mom Cafe

Cafemom.com

When I was pregnant with my son I joined a lot of online groups so I could meet other Mom's and find out the best solutions for raising my baby.  As my kids got older I still find myself navigating through these forums as who doesn't need reassurance that the things your child is doing is actually normal although it can drive you CRAZY.  Cafemom is one of these places that I go to.

While you are online sign in here to this free community and check out the fun topics and make some new friends.

TLC Extreme Couponing - back tonight at 10pm EST (9c)

TLC is back on tonight with new episodes at 10pm EST (9c)

As a couponer I've already seen the aftermath of last season's TLC's Extreme Couponing show because my grocery stores have all tightened up their coupon policies.  I will not be watching this season as really do I need to give up my garage for shelves full of stuff that I don't really need.  I'm only feeding a family of four and I don't need 20 bottles of antacid or 50 boxes of cereal.

Will you be watching?

Instead I'll be checking out the following:
